Breakfast Waffles

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 cup almond flour (homemade recipe linked HERE)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder (I used Dream Protein from the office)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup almond milk (homemade recipe linked HERE)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large mixing bowl stir together eggs, almond milk and vanilla.
  2. Add baking soda, baking powder, chia seeds, protein powder and almond flour to the large bowl and mix until fully combined.
  3. Set aside for 5-10 minutes to let almond flour set.
  4. Turn on waffle iron and start making the waffles.
  5. Recipe makes about 6 square waffles.
  6. Top with you favorite toppings! Mine is peanut butter, bananas and honey 🙂
