Korean Beef
This Korean Beef recipe is a flavorful and tender dish perfect for a hearty, savory meal. Using thinly sliced beef or venison, it's marinated overnight in a blend of local honey, brown sugar, coconut aminos, garlic, and ginger for a deliciously sweet and tangy flavor profile. Cooked to perfection with a touch of avocado oil, this dish is topped with fresh green onions and served over a bed of organic rice, making it a satisfying and easy-to-prepare meal that brings a taste of Korean cuisine to your table.
Ingredients
- 1lb beef (I used venison, you can use any type of steak too!)
- 1 Tbsp local honey (We sell some in the office!)
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar (I used swerve brown sugar)
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 2 tsp of minced ginger
- 3 green onions chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Slice raw steak or venison into small strips and add to a bowl.
- In a separate bowl; mix honey, brown sugar and coconut aminos until smooth.
- Pour liquids on top of the steak.
- Add garlic and ginger to bowl.
- Stir all ingredients together and cover.
- Place in the fridge to marinate overnight or minimum 8 hours.
- When ready to cook, set pan on medium heat and add a tablespoon of avocado oil.
- When avocado oil is hot, add beef to the pan and stir occasionally until cooked through.
- Top with chopped green onions (optional)
- Serve over a bed of organic rice.
