Apple Crisp

In need of a sweet treat but don't want all the added sugar that comes along with it? This is the desert for YOU! This Apple Crisp has NO added sugar and tastes oh so sweet! This will help with ANY sugar cravings you might have! In less than 1 hour you will be enjoying your beautiful Apple Crisp. You could even pair this sweet treat with a homemade, and full fat scoop of vanilla bean ice cream 🙂

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 40 Minutes

Total Time: 50 Minutes

APPLE FILLING:

  • 4 Medium Sized Apples
  • 1 Tbsp of Melted Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tbsp of Cubed Grass-fed Butter

Crisp Topping:

 

  • 1 Cup of Old Fashion Oats
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp of Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp of Coconut Oil

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Begin with washing all of your apples you plan on using.
  3. Grease an 8x8 baking dish
  4. Peel + Cut the apples into 1/4 inch slices
  5. Mix together Apples, Cinnamon, Ground Ginger, and Melted Coconut Oil. Then transfer into the greased baking dish.
  6. Mix together the Crisp Topping into a separate bowl, then place on top of the apple base.
  7. Cover the Apple Crisp with tin foil and put into the oven for 20 minutes. After uncover and put back into the oven for another 15-20 minutes or until the crisp topping is golden brown.

Mix together the peeled + sliced apples, cinnamon, ground ginger, and melted coconut oil.

APPLE FILLING:

  • 4 Medium Sized Apples
  • 1 Tbsp of Melted Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tbsp of Cubed Grass-fed Butter

Transfer into the 8x8 pan then top with cubed grass-fed butter.

Prepare the crisp topping in a separate bowel.

Crisp Topping:

  • 1 Cup of Old Fashion Oats
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp of Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp of Coconut Oil

Then place on top of the apple filling evenly.

Cover the Apple Crisp with tin foil and put into the 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. After uncover and put back into the oven for another 15-20 minutes or until the crisp topping is golden brown.
